Dans son dernier entretien avec Hadramout Chanel, Haider Abu Bakr Al-Attas, conseiller du président du Conseil de la présidence, l’ancien Premier ministre, Haider Abu Bakr Al-Attas a montré des signes positifs vers le Sud. Il a dit : Le rôle de la (Conférence inclusive Hadramout), dirigée par Al-Bahsani, vice-président du (Conseil de transition du Sud), doit être ravivé et activé, car il est le seul représentant du peuple d’Hadramout. cela indique qu’il marche dans la ligne d’Al-Bahsani et contre les petits projets à Hadramout. Dans un autre paragraphe, il affirme que (le Conseil de transition du Sud), doit élargir la participation à ses organes en fonction du poids politique, économique et démographique de chaque gouvernorat du Sud.
C’est un signe d’Al-Attas que le (le Conseil de transition du sud) est le seul représentant du peuple du sud et l’autorité de facto. Dans un autre paragraphe sur la Conférence de dialogue Sud-Sud, Al-Attas a déclaré que la Conférence de dialogue Sud-Sud bénéficie du soutien britannique et de trois autres pays importants. De plus, c’est un signe que le Conseil de transition du Sud bénéficie d’un soutien international dans ses décisions et ses orientations. Ce sont de bons et importants signes, et une réponse aux partisans de la division du Sud et de l’établissement de petits projets dans l’Hadramaout.

In his last interview with Hadramout Chanel , Haider Abu Bakr Al-Attas, advisor of the President .of the Presidency Council, the former Prime Minister, Haider Abu Bakr Al-Attas showed positive signs towards the South. He said: The role of the (Hadramout Inclusive Conference), led by Al-Bahsani, Vice President of (the Southern Transitional Council), must be revived and activated, as it is the sole representative of the people of Hadramout. this indictes that he is walking in the line of Al-Bahsani and against the small projects in Hadramout. In Another paragraph he affirmes that (the Southern Transitional Council), must expand participation in its bodies in accordance to the political, economic and demographic weight of each Governarate of the South. This is a sign from Al-Attas that the (the Southern Transitional Council) is the sole representative of the people of the south and the de-facto authority.

يعكس تاريخ أمتنا العربية مدى ارتباط نهضة أمةٍ ما بقدرتها على الاتصال بالأمم الأخرى والاستفادة من إنجازاتها المادية والفكرية. فمن المعلوم أن اتصال العرب بالشعوب الأخرى- كالفرس واليونان والأسبان وغيرهم-، لاسيما في العصر العباسي، كان من أهم عوامل ازدهار الحضارة العربية الاسلامية في ذلك الحين. ومن المسلم به أيضا أن الاتصال بالأمم الأخرى يرتكز أساساً على مدى إتقان اللغات الأجنبية والقدرة على الترجمة منها. ففي فترة الخلافة العباسية برز عدد كبير من أصحاب اللسانين الذين قاموا بدور كبير في تطوير عملية الترجمة من وإلى اللغة العربية، وقد قام الخليفة المأمون بتنظيم تلك العملية. كما أن تأسيس محمد علي باشا لمدرسة الألسن ودعمه للنهوض بحركة الترجمة في القرن التاسع عشر كانا من أهم عوامل النهضة العربية الحديثة. و تسعى مؤسسات التربية والتعليم في مختلف أقطار العالم إلى إدخال تدريس لغة أجنبية واحدة على الأقل في مناهج التعليم من المرحلة الابتدائية، بل أن كثيراً من الدول – ومنها سلطنة عمان- قد أدخلت تدريس اللغة الأجنبية ضمن مواد المستوى الأول من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي وذلك إدراكاً منها لأهمية دور اللغات الأجنبية في التنمية البشرية والمادية.
